Chris Throckmorton

Chris Throckmorton is an accomplished healthcare executive with extensive experience in operations and leadership. As Chief Operating Officer at Surgery Partners, LLC since April 2012, Chris has been instrumental in driving operational efficiency. Prior experience includes serving as President of Select Provider Networks at Select Medical Corporation from May 2007 to April 2012, overseeing a provider-owned rehabilitation network. In addition, Chris held the position of West Division President at Select PT and worked as Vice President at Healthsouth from 2000 to 2003. Educational qualifications include an MBA in Finance from Georgia State University’s J. Mack Robinson College of Business and a Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from the UNC School of Medicine.
