Paul Athanasiov is an accomplished medical professional with extensive experience in ophthalmology. As the Founding Director of Surgical Order since July 2017, Paul has facilitated connections between surgeons, hospitals, and suppliers. Holding the position of Principal Ophthalmologist at Eye Surgeons SA since February 2014, Paul specializes in complex anterior segment surgeries, including cataracts, pterygium, corneal grafts, and glaucoma. Additionally, Paul is affiliated with The Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Ophthalmologists and served as an Ophthalmology Fellow at the Royal Adelaide Hospital from 2013 to 2014, gaining advanced skills in cataract and corneal surgeries, glaucoma management, eyelid repair, and more. Paul holds a Bachelor's Degree in Medicine (MBBS) from the University of Adelaide and two Master's Degrees—one in Ophthalmic Science from the University of Sydney and another in Ophthalmology from the University of Adelaide.
