Vanessa Paz-Barreiras

Vanessa Paz-Barreiras is a seasoned professional in the medical analysis field with a strong background in research and quality assurance. Currently serving as the Manager of Medical Analysis Operations at Surgical Safety Technologies Inc. since July 2022, Vanessa previously held multiple roles at St. Michael's Hospital, including Research Coordinator II for the International Centre for Surgical Safety and various research assistant positions. With experience in both operational management and quality assurance, Vanessa's career began with research support roles and transitioned into leadership. Vanessa earned an Honours Bachelor of Science in Biology with a minor in Psychology from Toronto Metropolitan University and holds an Ontario Secondary School Diploma from St. Joseph's College.
