Smadar Magal

Smadar Magal has a diverse work experience in the healthcare and medical technology industries. Smadar currently serves as the Senior Director of Product Management for Robotic Surgical Simulation at Surgical Science since June 2023. Prior to this, they held the role of Senior Product Manager for Robotic Surgical Simulation from January 2022 to May 2023.

Before joining Surgical Science, Smadar worked at 3D Systems Healthcare from June 2017 to January 2022. As a Senior Product Manager, they contributed to the company's product development and management. Smadar also served as a Product Manager from June 2017 to June 2019.

In 2016, Smadar worked at Amnis Therapeutics as an R&D and Clinical Engineer from May 2016 to May 2017.

From November 2013 to April 2016, Smadar worked at Orsan Medical Technologies Ltd. as a Clinical Engineer. Smadar then transitioned to a role as a Research team member, where they operated and monitored the device's performance at the hospital and collaborated with the medical and R&D teams.

Smadar also gained experience as a Clinical Application Specialist at EndyMed Medical Ltd. from March 2013 to August 2013.

In addition to their healthcare-related roles, Smadar worked as a Math tutor at The Center for Educational Technology from October 2012 to June 2013.

Smadar Magal earned a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Biomedical/Medical Engineering from Ben-Gurion University of the Negev in 2013. Smadar then went on to complete a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree in Management of Technology, Innovation & Entrepreneurship (MoTIE) at Tel Aviv University from 2015 to 2017.
