Surgical Society of Kenya
Dr. Stanley Aruyaru, MBChB, MMed, FCS, FACS, currently serves as the Chief Medical Officer at PCEA Kikuyu Hospital, overseeing four clinical units and more than 500 staff members. As Secretary General of the Surgical Society of Kenya and Chairman of its Scientific and Research Committee, Dr. Aruyaru manages the society's documentation and organizes the Annual Scientific Conference. With a long-standing involvement in academic publishing, Dr. Aruyaru is an Associate Editor for the Annals of African Surgery and previously served as Assistant Editor. Prior experience includes significant leadership roles at St Theresa Mission Hospital and Consolata Hospital, among others, alongside ongoing academic pursuits towards a Doctor of Philosophy in Global Surgery from the University of Cape Town.
