Daniel S. Gareau

Daniel S. Gareau has worked in various roles since 2000. In 2000, they worked as a Research Assistant and Overall Good Guy at Oregon Medical Laser Center, Providence St. Vincent Hospital, where they developed Monte Carlo simulation to mimic confocal signal as a function of depth and mapping algorithm to go from I(z) to mus and musp. Daniel S. also imaged melanoma in a murine model. In 2002, they worked as a Biomedical Laser Engineer at Oregon Health Science University. From 2005 to 2011, they worked as a Research Scientist at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. Since 2011, they have been an Instructor In Clinical Investigation at Rockefeller University. Since 2019, they have been the Founder and Board Chairman of SurgiVance Inc.

Daniel S. Gareau obtained their Master's degree in Clinical and Translational Research from The Rockefeller University in 2014. Prior to that, they obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Biomedical/Medical Engineering from Health and Science jobs in 2006. Daniel S. also obtained a PhD in Biomedical/Medical Engineering from OGI school of Science and Engineering in 2005. Additionally, they obtained a Good Clinical Practices (GCP) certification from the CITI Program in May 2022.
