Sarah Yu

Sarah Yu is a seasoned professional in sustainability and operations, currently serving as the Sustainability & Operations Manager at SURI since October 2024. Prior to this role, Sarah was the LCA Data Manager at Minviro, where Sarah played a crucial role in developing internal data for life cycle assessments of key battery production materials. At CDP, Sarah managed a team to support the launch of the CDP reporting platform and served as the Cities, States and Regions Lead, facilitating environmental disclosures for over 1,000 cities and 80 states worldwide. Sarah’s earlier experience includes operations management at Green Standards Ltd, where significant waste diversion from landfills was achieved, and teaching roles in Hong Kong. Sarah holds a Master of Science in Environmental Management from The University of Hong Kong and an Honours Specialization in Biology from Western University.
