Nicolas Ng, CFA, is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in investment management and portfolio strategy. Currently serving as a Partner and Portfolio Manager at Surlamer Investments since October 2021, Nicolas specializes in global consumer and technology long/short equity, as well as private investments. Prior experience includes a tenure as a Portfolio Manager for market-neutral hedge funds, where Nicolas focused on fundamental global long/short equity and special situations encompassing IPOs, M&A, and capital structure arbitrage. Additionally, Nicolas has contributed as a Finance Board Member for the Church of St. Francis Xavier and served in Investment Banking at Goldman Sachs, working directly for the Chairman. Educationally, Nicolas holds an MBA from The Wharton School and has participated in specialized programs at both Harvard Business School and Boston College, emphasizing a strong foundation in finance and management.
