William Underwood

William Underwood, CPL, is a seasoned petroleum landman with extensive experience in negotiating leases, easements, and title analysis. Currently serving as a Contract Petroleum Landman at Surprise Valley Resources, LLC since April 2021, William previously held similar roles at Angelle & Donohue Oil and Gas Properties and Crevalle Energy LLC. A background in construction supervision and estimation was gained at David Weekley Homes, where oversight of home construction from pre-construction to buyer acceptance was key. With a Bachelor's degree from Sul Ross State University and certification as a Professional Landman from AAPL, William has developed a robust skill set in title research and negotiation, having represented numerous clients across multiple counties in Texas and Oklahoma.
