Mark Gyles

Mark Gyles is a seasoned marketing professional with extensive experience in social media strategy and digital marketing across various technology companies. Currently, Mark serves as the Social Media Lead at SurrealDB, a position held since March 2024. Prior to this role, Mark was the Social Media Manager at Mambu, where responsibilities included the development and activation of global social media campaigns to enhance brand awareness for the company’s cloud banking platform. Previous experience includes leadership roles at Oracle, overseeing EMEA and APAC social media campaigns, and at Hewlett Packard Enterprise, where Mark spearheaded HPE Software's global social media marketing initiatives. Additional roles in marketing and communications at Hewlett Packard, Riverbed Technology, Zeus Technology, KWS UK Ltd., and Autonomy Corporation have further equipped Mark with a comprehensive understanding of the marketing landscape. Mark holds a BA Hons in Business & Marketing from the University of Greenwich.
