David Cooke

David Cooke has extensive work experience in the aerospace industry. David started their career as a Hardware Engineer at Space Innovations Ltd in 1996, where they designed data handling systems and various electronic modules for space missions. David then worked as a Design Engineer at Synad/ST Micro in 2000 before becoming a self-employed contractor later that year. In 2001, they joined Surrey Satellite Technology Ltd as a Senior Engineer and eventually became a Principal Engineer in the On-Board Data Handling group. At SSTL, they have designed and developed sub-system modules and OBDH architectures for various space missions. David is also experienced in radiation testing and consultancy on space radiation effects.
