Tom Boulton

Tom Boulton has extensive experience in the aerospace engineering field, currently serving as a System Engineer at Surrey Satellite Technology Ltd (SSTL) since September 2014, where responsibilities include providing system-level support for ongoing programs and developing the SSTL Core Avionics system, along with leading power systems in projects such as ELSA-d and THEOS-2. Previously, Tom held positions as an Electronic Engineer, focusing on the electronics design and power subsystem leadership for various missions, and as a Graduate Electrical Engineer, contributing to the design of geostationary and low Earth orbit wheels. Tom's career began with an industrial placement at SSTL, enhancing an Interface Module for TechDemoSat-1. Academic credentials include a Master of Engineering in Space Technology and Planetary Exploration from the University of Surrey and attendance at the International Space University, complemented by a solid foundation in Further Maths, Maths, Electronics, and Physics from Calday Grange Grammar School.
