Aimee Ouellette

Aimee Ouellette is an experienced educator and freelance editor currently working as a Classroom Teacher and Teacher Teaching On Call at Surrey Schools since July 2015. With a self-employed freelance editing practice starting in 2008, Aimee offers copy editing services to a diverse clientele, including government organizations, commercial businesses, and non-profits, as well as assessing fiction manuscripts for various literary entities. Previously, Aimee served as an Associate Editor at Anvil Press from May 2008 to April 2012, where responsibilities included substantive and stylistic editing, copy editing, and proofreading across various genres. Aimee holds a Post-Degree Professional Program in Secondary Education and Teaching from Simon Fraser University and a Bachelor of Arts with Honours in English from the University of British Columbia, complemented by further studies at Douglas College.
