Alice Cao

Alice Cao is an experienced educator and academic director with a diverse background in teaching and curriculum development. Currently serving as a Teacher on Call for Surrey Schools since September 2022, Alice also holds the position of Academic Director at Booya Academy, where responsibilities include teacher recruitment, curriculum design, and content writing. Previous roles include Secondary School Teacher at Sullivan Heights Secondary and Art Teacher at Elgin Art Studio, focusing on art history and creative practices for students in grades 7-11. Alice has also engaged in freelance design and photography, showcasing work in various exhibitions, including the "Young Artist in Place" exhibition and has contributed as a project assistant for the Korean Bojagi Forum. Alice holds a Bachelor of Education in Art Teacher Education from The University of British Columbia and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Illustration from the Rhode Island School of Design.
