Beverley Bunker

Beverley Bunker is an experienced educator currently serving as a Conseillère pédagogique and Helping Teacher for K-12 French Immersion and Intensive French at Surrey Schools (School District #36 Surrey) since September 2021. Bunker also holds the position of Teacher Librarian and has been an Adjunct Teaching Professor and Sessional Instructor at The University of British Columbia since September 2015, focusing on inquiry, assessment, and core French instruction. Prior experience includes serving as SEL Cohort Coordinator and Faculty Advisor, as well as teaching Grade 6/7 in both Late French Immersion and English programs at Surrey Schools from September 2009 to August 2017. Bunker has an extensive educational background, holding a Postgraduate Degree in Teacher Librarian from Queen's University, an M.Ed. in Curriculum and Instruction from Simon Fraser University, a B.Ed. in Music and French from Western University, and a B.Mus. in Music Education from Western University.
