Devon Gaumont

Devon Gaumont has a diverse background in education and lifeguarding, currently serving as a French Teacher at Surrey Schools, focusing on French through distributed learning and a STEAM program since 2020. Prior experience includes teaching French Immersion at Earl Marriott Secondary School and training Red Cross Water Safety Instructors at the Township of Langley. As a Lifeguard and Instructor at the same township, Devon taught swimming lessons across all age groups and maintained crucial First Aid certifications. Additional roles include serving as a Membership Representative at Bikram Yoga 360, a Research Assistant at the University of the Fraser Valley, and a Second Language Assistant in Warwick, QC. Devon holds multiple degrees, including a Post-Degree Diploma in Adventure Education from Camosun College and a Bachelor of French Education from Simon Fraser University.
