Isaac Louie has extensive experience in education, serving as a Grade 5/6 Teacher at Betty Huff Elementary within School District #36 (Surrey) since 2020, following earlier positions at Hall's Prairie Elementary and Frost Road Elementary. Isaac's teaching career began with a role as a Teacher Teaching on Call in early 2016, and prior experience includes teaching K-7 as a Teacher-on-Call for New Westminster School District No. 40. Isaac has also facilitated workshops for SafeTeen International, focusing on healthy masculinity and sexual consent, and led discussions on critical masculinities at Simon Fraser Public Interest Research Group. Additional roles include serving as an Independent Electoral Officer for the First Nations Student Association at Simon Fraser University and as a Youth Facilitator with Battered Women’s Support Services. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Education in Environmental Education from the University of Victoria and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Simon Fraser University.
