Katherine Lat

Katherine Lat is an experienced educator with a robust background in elementary education, having worked as an Elementary School Teacher at Surrey Schools since October 2021, and previously at Nak'al Bun Elementary School from November 2017 to August 2021. Katherine has expertise in setting IEP goals, conducting assessments, coaching Educational Assistants, and fostering strong relationships with students and families to enhance academic and emotional development. In addition to teaching roles, Katherine has held various positions in customer service and event coordination, including Community Manager at Vaulted Inc. and Dental Receptionist at Summerhill Gardens Dental. Katherine holds a Bachelor of Education from Ontario Tech University and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Toronto Mississauga, complemented by a Digital Communications Certificate from Sheridan College.
