Trevor Wong has extensive work experience in various roles and industries. Trevor is currently working as the Associate Director of the Capital Project Office (Construction) at Surrey Schools. Prior to this, Trevor held positions at Kwantlen Polytechnic University, where they served as the Director of Planning and Construction and the Manager of Capital Projects. Trevor also worked at Vancouver Community College as the Director of Facilities Management and Planning (Interim) and the Manager of Facilities Planning and Business Integration. Before that, Trevor gained experience at WorkSafeBC as a Project Coordinator for Facilities Projects and at VANOC as a Site Infrastructure and Planning Coordinator. Trevor started their career as a Designer at Western Display Group and as a CAD Technician at ITEC Systems Design Ltd.

Trevor Wong, MSc, PMP, FMP, has a diverse education history. Trevor completed their Master's degree in Project Management specializing in Construction and Infrastructure at the University of Liverpool from 2015 to 2017. Prior to that, in 2001 to 2002, they attended the Vancouver Film School where they studied New Media. In 1997 to 1999, Trevor pursued their education at the British Columbia Institute of Technology, focusing on Mechanical Systems. Additionally, in 1994 to 1995, they studied Structural Drafting at the same institute.

In addition to their educational background, Trevor obtained certifications to further enhance their professional skills. Trevor became a Project Management Professional (PMP) through the Project Management Institute (PMI). Trevor also obtained the Facility Management Professional (FMP) certification from the International Facility Management Association (IFMA). The specific dates of when they obtained these certifications are not provided.
