Shiwangi Hamal is an experienced educator and accounting professional with a diverse background in elementary education, outdoor education, and accounting roles. Currently serving as an Elementary School Teacher at Surrey Schools since 2019, Shiwangi has also worked as a School Associate at Simon Fraser University and the University of Victoria. Previous experience includes teaching outdoor education at Scout Island Nature Centre and completing a teacher candidate role with Delta School District 37. In the accounting field, Shiwangi served as a Staff Accountant at Primacorp Ventures Inc. and Zymeworks Inc., along with a teaching assistant position at UBC Sauder School of Business. Shiwangi holds a Bachelor of Education from The University of British Columbia, a Postgraduate Certification from Queen's University, and a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting from UBC Sauder School of Business.
