Surrey Sports Park
Surrey Sports Park is a £36m elite training venue at University of Surrey offering World Class facilities. It is situated 30 minutes outside London and close to both Heathrow and Gatwick Airports. The Park hosted 16 Olympic and Paralympic teams for pre-games training including GB Basketball, Singapore, US Triathlon and Chinese Synchronised Swimming. It is the permanent training base of Aviva Premiership Champions, Harlequins; Netball Super League Team, Surrey Storm; British Basketball League Club, Surrey Scorchers and UK Top 5 Swimming Club, Guildford City. It was the venue for 2010 IRB Women’s Rugby World Cup, The Jordan Brand Classic, The GB Paralympic Festival, The FIE Beazley Trophy and many other events, activities and training camps. Surrey Sports Park was an official Rugby World Cup 2015 Team Base and welcomed Italy, Ireland, Scotland and South Africa for training camps during the tournament. It is also hosted the Lacrosse World Cup 2017. The Sports Park also hosts the home games of its two sports franchises Netball Super League's Surrey Storm, and BBL team Surrey Scorchers, both of which have extensive sponsorship assets available.
