Liqin Xie

Principle Scientist at Surrozen

Liqin Xie has a diverse work experience in the field of scientific research, spanning over two decades. Currently, Xie holds the position of Principle Scientist at Surrozen since May 2018. Prior to this, Xie worked at Regeneron Pharmaceuticals as a Staff Scientist from July 2009 to April 2018. Xie also served as a Post-Doc at the Georgia Institute of Technology from November 2006 to July 2009. Xie's earlier career includes being a Principal researcher and head of the laboratory of bone metabolism at the Institute of Space Medico-Engineering of China from July 1999 to August 2002.

Liqin Xie earned a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Biomedical Engineering from the State University of New York at Stony Brook from 2002 to 2006. Before that, Liqin Xie obtained a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Medicine with a focus on bone metabolism from the Institute of Space Medico-Engineering of China. Additionally, Liqin Xie holds a Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree from the Beijing University of Chinese Medicine in China.
