Alex Ramos

Alex Ramos is a seasoned investment professional with extensive experience in various roles within the finance sector. Currently serving as a Senior Investment Officer at the State Universities Retirement System since July 2014, Alex has successfully led multiple investment searches across diverse asset classes and has assisted in additional searches related to private equity and fixed income. Prior roles include Investment Strategist at HM Capital Management, where Alex provided investment recommendations and managed trading for client accounts, and Investment Analyst/Portfolio Manager at Buford, Dickson, Harper, & Sparrow Inc., focusing on portfolio construction and management. Alex began the career as an Investment Analyst at Sparrow Capital Management, specializing in equity research and portfolio management. Alex holds a B.A. in Economics from Washington University in St. Louis.
