Jian Huang has a diverse range of work experience. They started their career as a Research Intern at Ford Motor Company in 1998 and then moved on to work as a Research Intern at Hewlett-Packard Laboratories in 1999. In 2001, Jian joined the University of Tennessee as a Professor of Computer Science, where they held the position for an unknown duration. In 2013, Jian co-founded and became the CEO of Survature, a position they still hold. Most recently, in 2022, Jian co-founded and became the CEO of Mapprio.AI.
Jian Huang's education history begins with high school. They attended NFLS from 1986 to 1992. Following high school, Jian obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Nanjing University of Posts & Telecom, where they studied from 1992 to 1996. After completing their undergraduate studies, Jian pursued further education at The Ohio State University, earning both a Master of Science and a Ph.D. degree in Computer Science. Their time at The Ohio State University spanned from 1996 to 2001.
