Brian Pitts is a seasoned technology professional with extensive experience in Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) and management across various organizations. Currently serving as a Staff Engineer at SurveyMonkey since September 2021, Brian leads an embedded SRE team supporting multiple development teams for the core product. Prior roles include SRE and Manager at Mozilla, where Brian supported over 30 services and was the primary SRE for six critical services. Additional experience encompasses senior engineering positions at Eventbrite and Lonely Planet, as well as foundational roles in system administration and DevOps at numerous institutions. Brian holds a Master’s degree in Political Science from The University of Georgia and a Bachelor’s degree in both Political Science and Computer Science from Emory University.
