Karsten Cox

Karsten Cox has extensive experience in procurement and supply chain management. Karsten currently holds the position of Head of Supply Chain and Procurement at Survitec Group Ltd. Prior to this, they were the Head of Procurement at Hitachi Information Control Systems Europe for seven years. Karsten also served as the Global Commodity Leader at Rolls-Royce Power Systems AG from 2012 to 2016. Before that, Karsten worked at Rolls-Royce as a Senior Buyer for Japan and later as a Senior Buyer. Karsten began their career at Bombardier Transportation as a Buyer.

Karsten Cox has a Bachelor of Arts degree (BA Hons) in Business Studies from Staffordshire University, which they obtained from 1999 to 2002. Karsten then pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Business Administration from the University of Derby between 2006 and 2008. Karsten went on to complete a PhD in Manufacturing Engineering and Operations Management at the University of Nottingham from 2009 to 2017. Their education also includes an ongoing pursuit of a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Supply Chain Management and Logistics from the University of Warwick, which they started in 2019 and is expected to complete in 2022. Karsten has also obtained a professional certification, MCIPS (Member of The Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply), from The Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply (CIPS), specializing in Logistics, Materials, and Supply Chain Management.
