Weslie Powell

Weslie Powell has an extensive background in public service and emergency medical services, currently serving as the Mayor of Locust Fork since June 2009 and as an EMS Pilot for Survival Flight Inc. since September 2022. With over 3,800 flight hours and significant leadership experience, Weslie has previously held key positions such as Operations Manager at Blount EMS, Inc., Aviation Site Manager at Metro Aviation, and Marketing Manager at Lanier Worldwide. Additionally, Weslie is recognized as Chairman Emeritus of the Blount County - Oneonta Chamber of Commerce. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Business Administration from Northwestern State University and a degree in Critical Care Paramedic from the University of Alabama at Birmingham.
