Kim Loewen, PsyD, is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist with extensive experience in various clinical settings since 2006. Currently operating a private practice in Old Town, Kim specializes in treating adults, children, and adolescents with a focus on identity development, family dynamics, self-esteem, and trauma integration. Kim has also served as a Contract Clinician for Survivors of Torture, International, and previously worked at Vericare and the Southern Indian Health Council, Inc., where a holistic healing approach based on the Medicine Wheel was implemented to assist Native American populations. Early career experiences include a psychology internship at Rady Children's Hospital Outpatient Psychiatry and a pre-doctoral internship at Aurora Behavioral Healthcare. Academic credentials include a PsyD and M.A. in Clinical Psychology from the California School of Professional Psychology and a B.A. in Psychology, Child Development, and Music from Vanderbilt University.
