Alexandra Erwin

Alexandra Erwin, PhD, is an experienced professional in scientific program management and talent development. Currently serving as Manager of Scientific Programs at Susan G. Komen since November 2021, Alexandra previously held the position of Director of Talent Development & Education at BioKansas, where a range of professional development initiatives were established for the life sciences community. During a tenure at the Burroughs Wellcome Fund, Alexandra served as Principal Investigator on a project aimed at enhancing PhD career opportunities. Alexandra earned a PhD in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology from the University of Kansas, complemented by a BS in Biology from Missouri State University. In addition, Alexandra has contributed to the Genetics Society of America as Co-chair of the Early Career Scientist Steering Committee.
