Gretchen Awad

Gretchen Awad is an accomplished professional in community relations and development, currently serving as Executive Director at Susan G. Komen since October 2020, after previously holding the position of Development Director for Northwest Ohio. Prior experience includes serving as Community Relations and Development Manager for Susan G. Komen Northwest Ohio from March 2016 to October 2020, and working as a Long Term Substitute Teacher for Sylvania Schools from August 2014 to June 2016. Earlier in their career, Gretchen held the role of Retail Sales Manager for the Designer Collection at Jacobson's from January 1997 to January 2002. Gretchen holds a Master's degree in Education and Licensure LAMP, Secondary Education and Teaching, as well as a Bachelor's degree in Communication, both from The University of Toledo.
