Kimberly Sabelko

Vice President, Scientific Strategy & Programs at Susan G. Komen

Kimberly Sabelko has extensive experience in the field of cancer research and program management. Kimberly started their career as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the University of Pennsylvania in 2000. Kimberly then joined the American Association for Cancer Research, where they held various roles including Program Administrator, Senior Program Administrator, and Assistant Director of Special Programs from 2004 to 2010. In 2010, they joined Susan G. Komen as a Research Science Manager, followed by a role as Director of Scientific Programs from 2011 to 2013. Since 2013, they have been working at Susan G. Komen in various positions, including Managing Director of Strategic Partnerships and Programs, and currently serves as the Vice President of Scientific Strategy & Programs.

Kimberly Sabelko completed their education with a Bachelor's Degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire in 1992. Following that, they pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Immunology at Washington University in St. Louis, which they completed in 1999.
