Beverly Kruse, MHSA has a strong background in non-profit management and leadership. Beverly began their career as a Traveling Leadership Consultant for Zeta Tau Alpha Fraternity for Women in 1999-2000. From 2004 to 2010, they served as the Executive Director for Susan G. Komen for the Cure, Southern Arizona, where they successfully increased the organization's budgeted revenue. From 2010 to 2013, they held the position of Executive Director for Susan G. Komen for the Cure - Central and Northern Arizona, overseeing the overall operation of a $3 million Affiliate. In 2015, they became the Executive Director of The Leelanau Children's Center, providing board and staff leadership to promote early childhood education and family health advocacy. Most recently, they have been with Susan G. Komen, serving as a Regional Director and currently as Sr. Director, Community Engagement & Initiatives, where they lead and manages the Community Engagement & Initiatives team to support priority initiatives for the organization.

Beverly Kruse, MHSA, obtained a Master's degree in Health Services Administration from the University of Michigan School of Public Health, completing their studies from 2021 to 2023. Prior to this, they pursued a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) in Accounting and Computer Information Systems from The University of Texas at El Paso, where they successfully completed their degree between 1994 and 1999.
