Alex Ely

Alex Ely (Steadman) is an experienced marketing professional currently serving as the Sr. Director of Global Demand Generation & Programs at SUSE since May 2024, while also working as an International Marketing Consultant for Alex Ely Marketing. Previously, Alex held the position of Sr. Director Marketing for EMEA at Pendo.io from October 2021 to March 2024, and served as VP Marketing at D2iQ from November 2018 to September 2021, where responsibilities included acting CMO and overseeing global demand generation and field marketing efforts across EMEA and APAC. Alex’s earlier roles include Head of Marketing for EMEA & ANZ at SnapLogic, and Head of Field Marketing for International markets at Hortonworks. With a foundational education including a Bachelor of Arts in Communication from the University of Southern California, a Doctor of Law from Loyola Law School, and completion of the Oxford Executive Leadership Programme at the University of Oxford, Alex brings a robust skill set and strategic insight to the marketing landscape.
