Alexander Thoma

Alexander Thoma is a seasoned engineering manager currently leading the SAP High-Availability Solutions team at SUSE, where the focus is on enhancing SUSE's market-leading solution for SAP High-Availability. With extensive experience at Nutanix, Thoma held multiple roles including Technical Director and Senior Manager, all aimed at performance engineering and solutions architecture for the Nutanix platform, particularly for business-critical applications. Prior to that, Thoma served at VMware as a Consulting Architect within the Global Center of Excellence, providing technical architectural support and guidance, and assisting in various pre-sales and consulting engagements. Thoma's educational background includes obtaining the Abitur from Stiftisches Gymnasium Düren.
