Dirk-Peter Van Leeuwen

Dirk-Peter van Leeuwen currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer of SUSE, a position held since May 2023. Prior to this, Dirk-Peter held various senior leadership roles at Red Hat from January 2004 to July 2022, including Senior Vice President and General Manager for North America and Asia Pacific & Japan, as well as Vice President of Sales for the Asia Pacific & Japan region and Vice President for Central & Eastern Europe. Dirk-Peter also served as Sales Director for Europe at Planetweb from September 2001 to December 2003 and was the Director for Central Europe at BSDI from October 2000 to September 2001. Earlier in the career, Dirk-Peter managed operations for SCO in the Benelux & Nordics from January 1996 to September 2000. Educational credentials include attendance at Harvard Business School and IMD, both in 2017, and participation as a Board Member at the Institute of Systems Science, National University of Singapore from March 2020 to March 2024.
