Sergio Ocón-Cárdenas

Sergio Ocón-Cárdenas is an experienced product manager currently serving as Senior Product Manager for Unified Core at SUSE, where efforts focus on creating a standard platform for advanced products involving operating systems and Kubernetes support. Previously, as Product Lead for SUSE Linux Framework One, Sergio managed overall strategy and communication for SUSE's Linux operating systems. Prior roles include product leadership at Kubeshop, where a desktop and SaaS product for Kubernetes configuration was developed, and a decade at Red Hat in various product management capacities, contributing to cost management solutions and cloud offerings. Sergio also has experience in business development and project management roles at Oracle, Vodafone, and Alcatel Espacio, combined with educational qualifications in telecommunications and business administration from the Universidad de Sevilla and EOI Escuela de Organización Industrial.
