Simon Lees is a seasoned software engineer and board member with extensive experience in the open-source software community. Currently serving as a Member of the Board for the openSUSE Project since January 2024, Simon was previously a board member from May 2018 to December 2021. In addition, Simon has been a Senior Software Engineer at SUSE since March 2016, contributing significantly to the Critical Package Update Team. Before this, Simon worked as a Software Engineer at Codan Limited from October 2010 to February 2016. Simon holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Software Engineering from the University of Adelaide, attained in 2010.
