Dr.-Ing. Tim Bruchmueller

Dr.-Ing. Tim Bruchmueller has a diverse work experience spanning multiple companies and roles. Dr.-Ing. Tim is currently working at SÜSS MicroTec as the Head of Platform & Systems. Prior to this role, they served as the Manager of Mechanical Engineering and Product Manager for Coater/Developer at the same company. Before joining SÜSS MicroTec, they worked at Karlsruher Institut für Technologie (KIT) as a Research Assistant and later as a Group Leader in the field of Power Tools. Additionally, they worked on a research project focused on human-technology interactions. Earlier in their career, they worked at RENA Technologies GmbH as a Service Engineer and later as a Team Leader and Team Member in the Assembly department. Dr.-Ing. Tim began their career as a Technical Apprentice at Ernst Reiner GmbH & Co. KG. Overall, Dr.-Ing. Dr.-Ing. Tim Bruchmueller completed their Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Mechanical Engineering at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) from 2008 to 2011. Dr.-Ing. Tim then pursued their Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree, also in Mechanical Engineering, at the same institution from 2011 to 2013. Dr. Bruchmueller further advanced their education at KIT, undertaking a doctoral program in Maschinenbau (Mechanical Engineering) from 2014 to 2019, leading to the attainment of their Dr.-Ing. degree.
