Dikai Xu

Dikai Xu has worked in the energy systems field since 2017. Dikai began their career at The Ohio State University as an Energy Systems Scientist, where they were responsible for leading and participating in various clean energy projects from lab to pilot scale. Dikai also carried out process control and software development. In 2021, they moved to NTRE TECH LLC as a Research Engineer, where they developed a novel fluidized bed heat exchanger for solar power applications and a novel biomass boiler. Dikai also conducted heat transfer and gas-solid fluidization studies. In 2022, they joined Sustaera as a Senior Research Engineer, where they directed Air Capture scale up and pilot demonstration, and carried out process control and software development.

Dikai Xu attended Tsinghua University from 2008 to 2012, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering. Dikai then attended The Ohio State University from 2012 to 2017, where they earned a Doctor of Philosophy - PhD in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering.
