James Boyle

James Boyle has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. James started their career in 1991 as a Graduate Intern on the Labor & Human Resource Committee for Chairman Edward M. Kennedy's staff in the United States Senate. James then joined Senator John F. Kerry's Senate staff in March 1992.

In 1996, Boyle worked as a Federal Law Clerk, where they researched and drafted federal legal opinions for a U.S. District Court Judge. In 1997, they transitioned to the role of an Attorney at Mintz Levin.

Boyle then shifted their career to the corporate world, joining Insignia ESG in 2000 as a Managing Director, where they provided corporate advisory services to various top companies. James later joined Trammell Crow Company in 2002 as VP of Corporate Advisory Services, specializing in real estate strategy and implementation.

In 2006, Boyle co-founded and served as the Principal Co-Founder & Board Member of The Alliance for Business Leadership, a non-profit organization promoting socially and environmentally responsible economic growth. James later became the President & Board Member of the organization from 2013 to 2015.

Boyle's most recent and notable role is as the Chief Executive Officer & Founder of Sustainability Roundtable, Inc. (SR Inc.), which they established in 2008. James has successfully partnered with leading global companies and introduced a subscription-based Strategic Advisory & Support as a Service to the sustainability movement.

James Boyle attended Noble and Greenough School from 1983 to 1986 for their high school education. James then went on to Middlebury College from 1986 to 1990, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in English and Political Science. Afterward, they pursued a law degree at Boston College Law School from 1993 to 1996, obtaining a JD in Law.
