Daniel Bernstein is currently a Special Assistant and Program Associate at Sustainable Development Solutions Network. Daniel has previous experience as a Migrations Scholar at Cornell University, a Senior Editor at Cornell Daily Sun, and a Senior Editor at Pelham Examiner. Daniel has also interned at various organizations such as Public Citizen, Visiting Nurse Service of New York, and Sustainable Tompkins, focusing on environmental policy advocacy and clean energy initiatives. Additionally, Daniel has been involved in policy research, event planning, and financial management at the Cornell Model United Nations Conference. Daniel holds a BA in Government with minors in History and Latin American Studies from Cornell University.

Sustainable Development Solutions Network
Launched by UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon in August 2012, the Sustainable Development Solutions Network (SDSN) mobilizes scientific and technical expertise from academia, civil society and the private sector in support of sustainable development problem-solving at local, national, and global scales. The network promotes integrated approaches to the interconnected economic, social and environmental challenges confronting the world. The SDSN works closely with United Nations agencies, multilateral financing institutions, the private sector and civil society. Projects we support include the World Happiness Report, the SDG Index and Dashboards Report and the SDG Academy (free online courses from the world's leading experts on sustainable development).
