Sherlina Kaur

Sherlina Kaur is currently an Education Manager at Sustainable Development Solutions Network, where Sherlina focuses on spreading knowledge of the UN SDGs and sustainable development through the SDG Academy. Prior to this role, Sherlina worked as a Sustainability Consultant at XCO2 and Bureau Veritas, specializing in green building consultation. Sherlina also has experience as a Postgraduate at Universiti Teknologi Malaysia and as an Assistant Consultant at Blue Snow Consulting & Engineering. Sherlina holds a Master of Science in Sustainable Urban Design from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia and a Bachelor of Engineering in Civil Engineering from Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS.

Launched by UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon in August 2012, the Sustainable Development Solutions Network (SDSN) mobilizes scientific and technical expertise from academia, civil society and the private sector in support of sustainable development problem-solving at local, national, and global scales. The network promotes integrated approaches to the interconnected economic, social and environmental challenges confronting the world. The SDSN works closely with United Nations agencies, multilateral financing institutions, the private sector and civil society. Projects we support include the World Happiness Report, the SDG Index and Dashboards Report and the SDG Academy (free online courses from the world's leading experts on sustainable development).
