Alan Ryan

Alan Ryan is an experienced Programme Manager at Sustainable Energy Ireland since January 2004, leading the Energy Efficiency in the Public Sector Programme and previously managing large industry and SME programmes. Ryan served as a part-time lecturer at Dublin Institute of Technology from 2008 to 2010, teaching Energy Management Principles and influencing future energy professionals. Previous roles include Assistant Facilities Manager at Vector Facilities Management, where responsibilities included coordinating facilities maintenance and energy management, and Facilities Engineer positions at Takeda Ireland Ltd and NEC, focusing on utilities maintenance and environmental management. Ryan holds an MBA from Dublin City University, a Postgraduate in Project Management from Trinity College Dublin, an M.Sc. in Environmental Protection from the Institute of Technology, Sligo, and a B.Sc.(Eng) in Building Services from Technological University Dublin.
