Monte Hilleman

Monte Hilleman currently serves as the Vice President of Environmental Resiliency, Compliance & Investment at Sustainable Investment Group, a position held since May 2023. Previously, Monte was President of Sustainability & Real Estate Consulting at Port Consulting from January 2019 to May 2023, where notable achievements included establishing a real estate consulting and brokerage division focused on sustainability and ESG strategies. At the Saint Paul Port Authority, from February 2005 to May 2023, Monte led significant redevelopment projects, including 'The Heights', which transformed a contaminated site into a thriving community with a focus on Net Zero Energy and social equity. Earlier roles included Project Director for the Great Northern Corridor and Pollution Prevention and Sustainability Manager at the Minnesota Office of Environmental Assistance, where Monte gained extensive experience in sustainable urban redevelopment and environmental initiatives. Monte holds a BA in Urban Studies with a focus on Urban Infrastructure and Ecology from the University of Minnesota.
