Sage Lenier is the Founder and Executive Director of Sustainable & Just Future, a role commenced in February 2023. Prior to this position, Sage served as a Public Voices Fellow with the Yale Program on Climate Change Communication from April 2022 to April 2023, participating in a prestigious fellowship focused on amplifying diverse voices on climate issues. From January 2018 to January 2023, Sage was a Student Professor at Berkeley, creating and leading a record-setting course on sustainability. Additionally, Sage lectured for Zero Waste Youth USA in early 2021 and held various leadership positions at the University of California, Berkeley, including membership on the Chancellor's Advisory Committee on Sustainability and fellowship in the Carbon Neutrality Initiative. Sage obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Conservation and Resource Studies from the University of California, Berkeley in 2020.

Through campaigning, working with educators, setting up student-led programs at universities and high schools, and offering our own digital programming, we are building a larger environmental movement by pushing people from empathy into change-making.
