Robyn Young

Robyn Young is a skilled marine biologist currently serving as a Scientific Officer at the Centre for Marine Sciences since April 2023 and as a Projects and Administrative Coordinator at the Sustainable Ocean Alliance since May 2022. Previously, Robyn worked as a Sustainability Consultant for The Blue Standard from September 2022 to March 2023 and as a Science and Outreach Intern at Discovery Bay Marine Laboratory & Field Station for a brief period in June to July 2022. Robyn holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Marine Biology from The University of the West Indies, Mona, and a minor in Marine Sciences and Animal Biology. Robyn also completed high school at St. Georges College and The Convent of Mercy Academy ‘Alpha’, focusing on biology and biological sciences.
