Alina Olaru has extensive work experience in the field of ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) analysis and research. Alina has worked at Sustainalytics since 2013, starting as a Junior Analyst before progressing to roles such as ESG Analyst, ESG Team Lead, and ESG Manager. In their roles, they have been responsible for researching and analyzing the ESG performance of companies in various sectors, contributing to the development of deliverables for clients, and participating in quality assurance and client-specific projects. Alina also has experience in student organizations and volunteering, demonstrating their engagement in various activities beyond their professional career.
Alina Olaru holds a Master's Degree in Le Management des Affaires en Contexte Européen from the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration Timisoara, which they obtained from 2013-2015. Prior to that, they studied Applied Modern Languages at the West University of Timisoara from 2010-2013. In addition to their degrees, they have certifications as a Certified Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt from the Lean Six Sigma International Association of Professionals, an ECQA - Sustainability Manager - Foundation Level from ECQA, and a CAE - Cambridge Advanced English from Cambridge Assessment English. These certifications were obtained in 2016 and 2015 respectively.
