Minttu Hänninen began their education by completing their high school diploma at Kuopion lyseo from 2011 to 2014. Following that, they attended Joutseno Academy in 2014-2015, where they focused on studying the Japanese language. In 2015, they enrolled at Lund University, where they pursued a bachelor's degree in Development Studies until 2018. During their time at Lund University, they also had the opportunity to study Political Science and Government as part of a bachelor's exchange semester at Thammasat University in 2017. Recently, from 2019 to 2021, Minttu pursued their master's degree in Sustainable Development at Utrecht University.
