Julie Roberts, MSc. PMP, currently serves as Chief Operations Officer and Head of East Africa at SustainSolar. With a background in business development as the Co-Founder of Langido Design & Screen Printing, Julie has facilitated growth through strategic guidance and process design. Previous roles include consulting for MARGE, where impactful assessments for GOGLA and SEforALL were executed, and serving as Utility Development Project Manager at Virunga Power, overseeing a $2bn power grid expansion. As Country Manager for MeshPower Ltd. in Rwanda, Julie enhanced financial independence by pivoting towards commercial and humanitarian projects. Academic qualifications include a Master of Science in Systems Engineering from Colorado State University and a Bachelor's Degree in Honours Physics and Astronomy from the University of Victoria, complemented by various certifications in international development and project management.
