Matt Ösund-Ireland

Matt Ősund-Ireland is a seasoned sustainability and environmental professional with over 30 years of diverse experience across various sectors, including transport, manufacturing, energy, and waste management. Currently serving as Director at Susteer since January 2022, Matt has an extensive background in environmental compliance, impact assessment, and strategic consultancy for commercial organizations, governments, and financial institutions in over 25 countries. Previous roles include Technical Director at Wood, End Market Director at AECOM, and Senior Environmental Manager in the Middle East, alongside leadership positions at firms such as Posford Haskoning Environment Gulf and Mott MacDonald. Matt holds a PhD in Environmental Science and Policy from the University of Greenwich and a BSc(Hons) in Combined Sciences from the University of South Wales.
